Over my time serving the army and having to go through a bunch of things I simply didn't want to do. (Or was just straight up bad at it) I've come to learn many important life lessons. One of which I found frighteningly relate-able to my artistic situation.
It would be hardpress for me to admit, but I have been stagnating a lot with my art. For the longest time, I've been wracking my head for a "why". I'd try to "challenge myself" and "draw something new", but always seemingly to produce no tangible improvements. And thats when (after a few articles and youtube videos)

Hello everyone! I hope y'all are doing well.
I'm currently going through a stage of my life where at the age range of 20, I am mandatorily required to serve my country's national service (the army) for 2 years. Unfortunate that's to say, I won't have a lot of time to do any art or be with you guys. Training has been tough, which led to me sleeping most times rather than drawing. Nevertheless, I do get the weekends off to do my things. So expect to hear from me only on a weekly basis. (Or maybe monthly if I get lazy haha) So yeah. Things kinda sucks at the moment. But eh, that's life. whattodo eh. (Withthatsaid) Take care everyone! I'll see you again on the weekends, with a stream session too hopefully. ;) |
